Daring Bakers February 2010: Tiramisu

Not too many words this week, just photos. Click this link for a recipe.

Getting ready for my trip to the UK/Israel and haven't had time to really "reflect" on my time making tiramisu (which included homemade lady fingers and mascarpone). Here are some photos of the process to get you by...

For what it's worth, I think I'll stick to the store bought lady fingers as they were kind of a pain. The homemade mascarpone was a lot of fun! And the previous post (mascarpone/monterey jack mac and cheese) was inspired by the leftovers!

The February 2010 Daring Bakers’ challenge was hosted by Aparna of My Diverse Kitchen and Deeba of Passionate About Baking. They chose Tiramisu as the challenge for the month. Their challenge recipe is based on recipes from The Washington Post, Cordon Bleu at Home and Baking Obsession.
