Carine Goren's Sweet Secrets in ENGLISH

My favorite baking book, "Sweet Secrets" by Carine Goren has finally been translated into English and was released last month. I cannot recommend this book enough. Especially because a lot of the recipes will seem more 'unique' to the American palate. Plenty of cookies, "babka" type yeast cakes, cheese cakes, and fruit based cakes. Not so muchy heavy handed frosting. LOTS of chocolate.

So far the one good source seems to be Sifrutake which is an Israeli bookseller based in NYC but you can buy it online from them as well. Amazon doesn't have it (claims it's out of print... which is just not true). I myself have purchased books from Sifrutake without any problems.

Here's a taste of some of the recipes that I've featured of hers (though I've made many other recipes from the book):

Hi,

I'm a friend of Carine's. She really wanted to sell the book on Amazon, but unfortunately, the cost of shipping the books to the States for the orders was prohibitive, so they can only sell through vendors who do the shipping themselves. She is really happy that there are some who are doing it, like the company you mentioned. Spread the word! Maybe word of mouth sales can get the book into the big retailers...

I found Carine's website through a friend but cannot deal with the Hebrew. I would very much like to purchase a copy of her book. I'll be in Israel this January and would be happy to buy it locally if possible.

None of the friends I asked are really into cooking and though they've promised to 'let me know' I thought that as a friend of the chef and author, you might be able to advise me on where and how.

Many thanks for your time!
Shay

I found it at one of the big book store chains.

In the US you can order it from sifrutake:
